이 성명서는 세계교회협의회(WCC), 세계기독교커뮤니케이션협회(WACC), WCC총회한국준비위원회(KHC) 주최로 2012년 5월 22-25일, 부산에서 열린 세계교회협의회 제10차 총회 주제를 다루는 국제회의에서 채택된 것이다.
